Hangover Hostel - Phi Phi Don

The staff was always there to help me, even at 3am when I couldn't remember my room number. I hiked to the breakfast table every day and had a fantastic BBQ on top of some tiles. So posh!

I loved everything so much that I couldn't find a single thing to complain about. Absolutely flawless!

The location was perfect, close to the beach and all the fun bars. We met some amazing people and the hostel had such a friendly atmosphere. Plus, the staff gave us free water every day and even left goodies for everyone to enjoy. I highly recommend this place for a fun and social stay.

The atmosphere was so friendly and cute, and I had the chance to meet some very nice people. The location was perfect, close to the beach parties but still quiet at night. The staff were lovely and kept the place clean. The AC worked great, a relief in the hot weather. And the best part? They had free bananas! I highly recommend this hostel for a fun and enjoyable stay.

I had the most incredible time at a hostel in Thailand recently. the staff were so friendly and went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. the location was perfect for me as I wanted to be close to the viewpoint and catch the sunrise. the hostel had a homey atmosphere and I loved being able to interact with fellow travelers. the owners made sure the vibe was positive and took great care of everyone.

There were some facilities that could have been improved.

I keep coming back because it feels like home. The staff helped me find my lost ID card and I never regret staying here. It has everything I need: free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, laundry, and a coffee shop. I'm excited to come back for New Year!

The staff were friendly and kept the place clean. They even provided us with water upon arrival and offered coffee and biscuits every morning. The hostel is just a short walk from the beach, bars, and the dock. No need for taxis!

As young travelers, we absolutely loved the social atmosphere at this hostel. It was incredibly easy to meet people and make new friends. The staff was friendly and even provided us with a complimentary bottle of water every day. We also appreciated the small gestures like bananas and biscuits left in the common area. The rooms were spacious and the location was fantastic - close to the beach and bars, yet still quiet. The air conditioning in the rooms was a bonus, and the basic bathrooms were clean.

my recent stay in phi phi don was amazing, but this weekend trip to hangover was even better! the staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist with signing us up for a tour. the location was perfect for a peaceful night's sleep, yet still close to everything. definitely felt like home away from home.

top bunk ladder was a struggle

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The location is convenient, close to the beach and bars. The rooms were spacious and had comfortable beds. The atmosphere was lively and social. Free water and towels were provided.

The staff is incredible, making the stay unforgettable. Leo was a real friend and always helpful. Great social atmosphere with activities and going out together.

Comfortable Beds

Featuring a private bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer, the beds at this hostel were surprisingly comfortable. It felt like sleeping on a cloud compared to other hostels I've stayed in. The mattresses were so cozy that I woke up feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, ready to take on a new day of adventures. The softness of the bed was like sinking into a marshmallow, ensuring a good night's sleep. The extra touch of the thin sheets gave it a minimalist charm and added to the overall comfort. I didn't freeze like I usually do in hostels, and that was a delightful surprise.

Limited Staff Presence

The hostel is located away from the main strip of bars, which meant I could actually get a good night's sleep. Plus, the AC worked like a dream, keeping the room cool and comfortable during the hot nights. I also really enjoyed the social atmosphere, as I got to meet some fun people and even went out with them for a night of partying.

The facilities were pretty basic and could have been cleaner, especially the bathroom. It would have been great to have a common area for socializing, as there were only two rooms in the hostel and it was difficult to chat if someone was sleeping in the room.

The owner takes great care of guests, providing water on the bed and creating a good atmosphere. Towels, hot showers, and a small social area add to the homely feel. Located close to the viewpoint, making it convenient for sunrise. Superb location near the beach, bars, 7-11, and massages. Beds are comfortable, rooms are spacious, and the AC keeps things cool.

We had an absolute blast at Hangover Hostel! The atmosphere was perfect for meeting new people and having a great time. The staff, especially Eddie, Jackie, and Bii, were amazing and made us feel right at home. They even organized fun activities and BBQs for us. The location was ideal, just a few minutes' walk from the beach and all the bars. And of course, the place was kept clean and tidy by the lovely staff. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!
